Meet the woman behind the lens
—my name is Wilson.
A little about me
I am a Southern NJ-PA based Photographer & Designer.
2017 Summa Cum Laude graduate of Moore College of Art & Design with a BFA in Illustration.
While in college I picked photography up as a hobby. I would ask my fellow classmates if I could take their portraits and from there my deep interest in photographing others formed. I would do one to two photoshoots a week around the city and I will forever be grateful to the women who allowed me to explore this passion and harness my skills early on.
After graduating, I found work as a full-time graphic designer, but my dream is to be a full-time photographer one day.
Former Assistant Teacher of Darkroom Photography for the Saturday Youth Program at Fleisher Art Memorial in Philadelphia.
I am equally at home, in the great outdoors, or the liveliness of the city. I am inspired by those around me, known and strangers. You can usually find me yapping on about art, cinema, food or dogs in some corner of the city. I am a little shy, but just like butter that’s been sat on the counter - I warm up eventually.
My love of art greatly informs how I photograph others. From how I see light, color, the curves of someone - it all crashes together to create something beautiful - a photograph that lasts forever.
